May was welcomed with the making and giving of May baskets by Kennedy to many neighbor friends. This is a tradition that we have kept going partly to honor how Jesse & I got engaged and there is always a good reason to send good cheer to others.
Next on the list of events was Mother's Day and I was treated like royalty with breakfast in bed, a handpainted vase, created by the talented Kennedy & Gage, flowers, a lunch buffet and the list goes on! Now I have to really deliver for Father's Day!
My birthday was also celebrated on the 13th-15th, one day is never enough! Jesse & Kennedy created a chocolate marshmallow cake creation that was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! We had dinner with our friends Seth & Emily at a great restaurant. Good food+good friends=fun night! We also celebrated a little for Emily's who's birthday is the 18th! Sunday evening friends came over for a cookout & ice cream cake.
