Christmas came early this year at the Bueno house. Let's just say it started at 5:45 a.m. and was over by 6:45 a.m. (well present opening at least). Jesse had to be on-call at the hospital for 24 hours so his shift started at 7a.m. (he needed to leave the house by 6:30 but made it in time by 5 minutes). He wanted to see Kennedy and Gage open their presents so we decided that an early morning would work the best. Kennedy had a little trouble rising and shining at that early hour but when she heard that Santa had come to our house she was WIDE awake!
As you can see from the photos Santa was very good to Kennedy, a Loving Family Grand Dollhouse, the Tinkerbell movie and some play food were some of the highlights. Gage got a few new toys and clothes; he was exhausted from the early morning and all the talk of Santa. He passed out on his surfboard soon after present opening had finished.
For lunch we went and spent time at the hospital with Jesse. We decided it is not where you spend your holiday that is most important it is just who you spend it with...we feel blessed to have two wonderful, healthy & happy kids. We couldn't ask for a better Christmas gift!
